We’ve been filming and working on A long-form documentary following Hawke Lawshe and the resurrection of the legendary Salt Shadow streamliner as it returns to the Bonneville Salt Flats in pursuit of history.

But this isn’t just documenting racing.

It’s about inheritance.
About carrying the weight of unfinished dreams.
About the strange bond between people and machines.
And about the fear that the things we dedicate our lives to may disappear with us.

Over the course of nearly a year, Gearshift Garage has been documenting the rebuild, the failures, the victories, and the deeply human moments surrounding a car that has become larger than the people driving it.

Salt Shadow captures the beauty, loneliness, and obsession of land speed racing in a way few outside the salt have ever experienced.

This clothing line exists to help fund and preserve that story.

Because some stories deserve more than memories.

They deserve legacy.
