Trevin Hermosillo
“If a man can build it, a man can fix it.” It’s an adage that Trevin Hermosillo, founder of Gearshift Garage, lives by. Born and raised in northwest Montana, Hermosillo has been building, repairing, and inventing machines and products for as long as he can remember.“While other kids were playing with Legos,” he says, “I was tinkering with the tools in my father’s garage.”That tinkering, combined with a powerful entrepreneurial spirit, has led Hermosillo to a wildly diverse career: railroad mechanic, co-founder of an apparel and adventure brand, and founder of Gearshift Garage.“In all of my endeavors, I’ve loved pushing myself and whatever I’m building to the limit,” says the 38 year old. “That’s how you learn.”From jet powered golf carts to Cannonball Runs from New York to Los Angeles, Trevin is always chasing some kind of adventure. Gearshift Garage is where he shares those adventures with the world, bringing viewers along for the journey.
Ema Hermosillo
“My job is to document you and make sure you don’t die.”
That’s how Ema Hermosillo describes her role at Gearshift Garage. A role that often puts her behind the camera in the middle of chaos, adventure, and high-speed storytelling.
Born and raised in Kalispell, Montana, Ema developed a passion for photography and visual storytelling at an early age. Today, she is the creative force behind much of the video and photo content seen across Gearshift Garage, from studio photography and lifestyle shoots to capturing moments in some of the harshest and most unpredictable environments imaginable.
Beyond the camera, Ema has a deep passion for both free diving and scuba diving, traveling the world in search of new experiences beneath the surface. That same sense of adventure carries into her work, where she combines creativity, precision, and calm under pressure to document every story as it unfolds.
Whether she’s hanging out of a chase vehicle with a camera in hand, filming in the desert, or capturing the perfect studio shot, Ema helps bring the world of Gearshift Garage to life. One frame at a time.
Sean Connell
He has over a decade of experience building software and hardware solutions for businesses, tackling the kinds of technical problems most people would rather hand off. That background collided with a passion for off road, where he ran into a frustrating gap: live streaming and tracking in the backcountry was clunky, unreliable, or flat-out didn’t exist. So he did what he’s always done built the system himself. Sean’s passion for motorsports led to him moving from the mountains of Montana to Utah where he could live out his dreams of off roading. He is always in the action. This means that the problems he faces as a racer, co driver or mechanic are the same problems you face.
Gary Watson
Sema, “Best of show" winner in 2011 is the kind of attention to detail Gary Watson brings to the table. He transfers that attention to detail to managing the social media needs of a variety of brands including Gearshift Garage and Mountain Mafia which has well over 200 million views under its belt. Born and raised in Van Nuys California Gary made the leap nine years ago to move to Bonners Ferry Idaho. This wasn’t done without leaving the automotive scene. Gary spends ALL of his free time surrounded by monster trucks at Precell Trench Ranch. “Life is always about the details” says Gary, the man behind the curtain. Gary brings you the content you see from us to you.
Andrew Priest
Andrew Priest has never not been racing. He started on flat track quads at four years old and worked his way through motocross, drift cars, stand-up jetskis, desert UTVs, and offroad dirtbikes over the next three decades. Off the track, he's built things his whole life. He has a decade in construction, and the last six years as a mechanical engineer. Sand Hollow is home now, where you'll find him prepping race vehicles for his wife and kids, or out prerunning in the desert for the next race. At the track he might be a driver, co-driver, mechanic, or tech support for our GSG Live Stream Racing devices.
