Cancellation policy

This policy covers the Gearshift Garage Live Stream Racing subscriptions: what you pay, when it renews, how to cancel and how refunds work. It also covers returns on Gearshift Garage merch. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will sort it out.

What you are subscribing to

  • Gearshift Garage Live Stream Racing runs on a yearly subscription. There are two plans: Premium at $350 a year and Base at $250 a year.
  • The GoPro MOD requires Premium. The A15 and Pixel run on Base or Premium.
  • What each plan includes is listed on its page: Premium and Base.
  • Every device requires a reliable, dedicated internet feed in the vehicle, Starlink preferred. A phone hotspot will not hold a race stream.

Automatic renewal and price

  • Your first year is charged at checkout.
  • Your subscription renews automatically every year, on the anniversary of the day you bought it, until you cancel.
  • Each renewal is charged to the payment method you used at checkout: $350 for Premium or $250 for Base, plus any applicable tax.
  • The price can change in the future. If it does, we tell you first (see Price changes below).
  • There is no minimum commitment beyond the year you have already paid for.

Your reminder before each renewal

30 days before each renewal, we email you the renewal date, the amount and how to cancel. It goes to the email address on your order.

How to cancel

You can cancel any time, online. You do not need to call us or give a reason.

  • Tap this link to open a ready-to-send cancellation email: Cancel my subscription by email.
  • Send it from the email address on your order. That is all we need.
  • If the link does not open your email app, send any email to support@gearshiftgarage.us that says "Cancel my subscription."
  • We cancel every subscription on that email address unless your message names just one.
  • Your cancellation counts from the moment you send it, even if our confirmation arrives later.

When cancellation takes effect

  • Cancelling stops your next renewal straight away.
  • You keep your plan until the end of the year you have already paid for. Then it ends, and you are not charged again.
  • If you get a refund (see Refunds), your plan ends when the refund is issued.
  • We email you a confirmation once it is cancelled.

Refunds: 30-day money-back guarantee

  • Not happy? Ask within 30 days of any subscription charge, including a renewal, and we refund that charge in full. Your plan ends when the refund is issued.
  • To ask, email support@gearshiftgarage.us from the email address on your order.
  • After 30 days a charge is not refundable, and your plan stays active until the end of the year you have already paid for.
  • Refunds go back to your original payment method. Your bank may take a few business days to post them.

Your GoPro MOD and Premium

  • Live Stream Racing devices, including the GoPro MOD: 30-day money-back guarantee. Contact support@gearshiftgarage.us for details if you need a return.
  • If you return your GoPro MOD within 30 days, we also refund the Premium subscription bought in the same order, so you get back the full amount you paid for both, and the Premium subscription ends.

Price changes

  • If we change a subscription price or make any other material change to your plan, we email you at least 14 days and no more than 30 days before the change applies. The email tells you how to cancel.
  • If a renewal is charged at a higher price than the one you agreed to, the 30-day money-back guarantee above covers that charge.

Merch

  • Gearshift Garage merch (apparel and accessories) is printed to order for you, so merch sales are final: no returns, refunds or exchanges.
  • The 30-day money-back guarantee does not cover merch. It covers the Live Stream Racing devices and subscriptions only.
  • If your merch arrives damaged, misprinted or wrong, email support@gearshiftgarage.us with your order number and a photo, and we will make it right.
